To uphold the integrity of our tournaments, all teams must register online through Zorts Sports. This platform verifies each athlete’s age before the tournament begins and confirms that the entire team roster is valid.
 

• Registration platform: Teams sign up through Zorts Sports, where managers create a roster and submit the necessary documentation for each player.

• Age verification: Zorts securely checks every athlete’s birth year against the division cutoff, ensuring players are placed in the correct age group.

• Pre‑game check‑in: Each team must check in at least one hour before your first scheduled game. This allows time to resolve any roster or document issues prior to kickoff.
   

Tip: We encourage team managers to start the online registration early. Completing the process well before tournament day helps avoid delays and ensures your entire team is cleared to play.

Every player listed on your roster must be verified for both age and division placement. Our updated two‑step process ensures accuracy:
 

1. Team managers upload documents via Zorts Sports (birth certificate, recent photo, liability form).

2. Tournament staff review and approve each player’s documents. Only approved players will appear as “validated” on the team roster.
    

Players who are not validated in advance cannot take the field. If you need assistance, contact our registration team at least 72 hours before the tournament.

A clear, recent headshot helps us identify players quickly at check‑in. Each player’s photo must meet these guidelines:
 

• Taken within the last six months.

• Shows the player’s entire face, clearly and unobstructed.

• No sunglasses, masks, or heavily tinted visors.

• Uploaded to Zorts Sports as part of the player’s profile.
   

These photos are used by our staff to match players to their roster and avoid any questions during age verification.

A legible copy of the player’s birth certificate is required to verify age and name. The document must:
 

• Show the player’s full legal name and date of birth.

• Be uploaded in the Zorts Sports system.

• Match the information provided during registration.
   

Uploading early ensures our staff have time to verify. Only players with a verified birth certificate will be cleared to play.

All players must have a parent or guardian complete the tournament release of liability form before participating. The form confirms that you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with flag football and agree to abide by tournament policies. This form can be completed digitally via Zorts or printed and signed, but must be on file prior to game day.

Once your players and documents are approved in Zorts Sports, your team will be marked as Verified. Verified teams do not need to carry copies of birth certificates or liability forms to the event; our staff will have the digital records on file. At check‑in:
 

• Provide your team name and coach’s ID.

• Our staff will cross‑check your verified roster.

• You’ll receive wristbands or credentials for each eligible player.
   

If any player has missing or incorrect documents, please resolve these issues online ahead of time; unresolved discrepancies at check‑in may delay or disqualify participation.
